The Lively Library.

Face

A space to make people aware of issues that you want to shout about by running interactive workshops, giving talks, distributing literature and exchanging ideas. Set back from the hustle and bustle of the market, this area will allow your voice to be heard and encourage feedback from your audience about the way we live and eat today. There will be screenings of topical, inspirational and informative short films.

Farm Link

We provide fun and learning through an informative “hands-on” approach to education in a countryside setting.  We provide the opportunities for more than 7,000 children annually to enhance the learning embodied in the core subjects and in a number of the foundation subjects of the National Curriculum at all four Key Stages. We do this through a number of carefully planned and structured themes and topics delivered in the environment at and around working farms. These programmes are led by an experienced former farm manager who is inspirational, charismatic and engaging.  He is supported by a former highly experienced teacher who has a love of the countryside.

centre for sustainable

Our vision is a world where sustainability is second nature, carbon emissions have been cut to safe levels and fuel poverty has been replaced by energy justice.
Our mission is to share our knowledge and practical experience to empower people to change the way they think and act about energy
We do this by giving advice, managing innovative energy projects, training others to act, and undertaking research and policy analysis.
At any one time we have between 50 and 60 different and separately funded projects under way. All of these are helping people and communities to meet real needs for both environmentally sound and affordable energy services.
