On January 29th 2012 Love Food Festival, in collaboration with Born and Relaxed Birth and Parenting are delighted to announce the third Love Baby event at Paintworks. Building on the success and positive feedback from the previous events Love Baby is set to be the best yet, combining Love Food Festival’s inclusive and friendly atmosphere with Born’s expertise and advise to produce the perfect day-out for new parents and parents-to-be.
Entry to the event is, as always, free and will contain an array of skilfully tailored stalls selling natural therapies, clothing, equipment, toys and much more. Love Food’s trademark picnic area will also be there, providing the necessary place to take the weight off your feet and tuck into, amongst others, natural shakes, or naughty cakes. Free workshops on hypno-birthing, yoga, and other natural birthing techniques will also be running throughout the day and with a wealth of seasoned nannies and mid-wives also on hand visitors are fully encouraged to ask as many questions and get as much advice as possible.
There will be a beautiful bright pink yurt housed within the event space, filled with sumptuous silk cushions and a twinkling of fairy lights it will provide Mums and newborns with a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy spending time together. Kate Evans, author of the fantastic book 'The Food of Love' will be on hand with some brilliant breast feeding animations and advice. You'll also be able to buy signed copies of this great book.
Baby sensory will be at the event running free classes all day for you and your young ones to enjoy and with arts and crafts, face painting, and other activities to keep elder siblings entertained Love Baby combines fun and entertainment with excellent support and know-how, making it a really worthwhile day out for all mums and dads seeking a more relaxed and natural approach to parenting.
I hope to see you all there!

Important announcement! If you are coming with your baby please please leave your buggy at home as last time we just didn't have enough space. I know it sounds a bit odd asking people coming to a baby festival to not bring them but the less we have the more people we can fit into the space. We will have a buggy park outside for people on foot, It's also much nicer to carry your baby in a sling as they'll get to see what's going on too instead of getting a view of knees and bums!
