This year sees the launch of our fabulous new area, Love Book. Come and sit in our library and read some books, swap recipes, cooking and gardening tips or buy some uniquely signed cookery books from the bookshop.
There will be a series of educational talks on a variety of current and environmental issues as well as Love Food's much loved soap box for anyone to have a rant about global issues close to their heart. With opportunities to chat to and question chefs fresh from the cookery school's stage, Love Book will create a fresh and relaxing way to interact and be inspired into trying out new cookery styles and techniques by talking to chefs and environmentalists in a non-intimidating atmosphere.
With story-telling and workshops for the younger ages our new Love Book section will provide everything needed to educate and inspire genuine change.
Here's a taster of what you can expect in this fantastic new area.

Max Drake.
The paleolithic diet. For several years I have co-ordinated groups of people engaged in various elimination diet programmes, usually to try and identify hidden allergies, or to simply observe the effects that different foods have on one's sense of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. As a practising Medical Herbalist, I noticed how difficult it is for people to change their dietary habits, and to really engage with self-observation in order to glean any meaningful information.
